SimCorp Dimension & Clearwater Analytics

I have delivered full implementations on both leading investment management platforms. Few independent consultants have taken SimCorp Dimension and Clearwater Analytics from scoping to production.

The problem

Platform implementations are sold as system projects. They are accounting projects: chart of accounts mapping, multi-GAAP schemes, custodian reconciliation, suspense clearing, interface cut-over.

The vendor knows the platform; the client knows its portfolios. Between the two, decisions on data migration, interfaces (Bloomberg, Swift, GL) and operating model land on whoever understands both sides.

What I deliver

Scoping and specification: functional requirements, target flows, migration strategy.
Testing and migration: UAT design and execution, data migration, suspense account clearing, parallel runs.
Go-live and hypercare: cut-over coordination, production stabilisation, user documentation and training.
Both sides of the table: engaged by vendors to secure delivery, or by institutions to face the vendor.

Clearwater Analytics — Senior Program Manager (2024–2026)

18-month implementation for a French reinsurer: Core, OMS, private equity module. OMS live December 2025, Core live January 2026. Parallel Luxembourg client delivery.

CNP — SimCorp Dimension (2013–2017)

Project Palladio: SimCorp implementation inside the investment department, investment fast-close redesign.

SCOR — SimCorp Dimension (2006–2010)

Full front-to-back implementation, €3M budget: middle and back office, Swift, Bloomberg, GL interfaces, IFRS and US GAAP reporting.
