Programme governance only works when the person running it understands the content. I chair steering committees on subjects I have delivered myself: regulatory accounting, platform implementations, finance transformation.

The problem

Complex finance programmes cross actuarial, accounting, IT and operations. A PMO that only tracks milestones cannot arbitrate between them; every technical dispute escalates or stalls.

Sponsors get dashboards; they need decisions. The difference is a programme lead who can read the substance behind each red flag.

What I deliver

Governance design: sponsor committees, steering cadence, decision paths, escalation rules.
Delivery discipline: roadmaps, RAID logs, action tracking, dependency management (Monday.com, MS Project).
Bilingual C-suite reporting: sponsor notes and steering minutes in French and English, systematically.
Recovery: taking over programmes that have lost their trajectory, re-scoping, rebuilding trust with sponsors.
