Leading an investment operations transformation programme
Replacement of a French reinsurer’s legacy investment solution, covering accounting, order management and closed-end funds. An €11bn portfolio.

Context
The programme covered order management, investment accounting, closed-end funds and Solvency II reporting. It brought together client and vendor teams in Europe, India and the US.
My work
- Manage deliverables, milestones and resources across parallel implementations in a shared tracking tool.
- Coordinate market data and general ledger interfaces, business testing and go-live preparation.
- Run bilingual sponsor committees and track risks and dependencies.
- Implement controls and reconciliations assisted by AI within the solution.
Results and work delivered
Close reduced from D+4 to D+2.
Custodian and bank reconciliations moved from weekly to daily processing.
Order management, accounting and reporting connected without rekeying between functions.
